Honest to Pete, Rob's tune on the soundtrack is just... yeah. *word fail*
BUT, that said, I'm having a really difficult time understanding the lyrics. I've jotted down what I think I hear, but I'm not sure.
I'd appreciate any corrections, as I need to commit these to memory ASAP. :-) Forgive me if I've butchered these, this isn't my forte.

I think yours is probably (much) closer to accurate. I waffled on the hold on/oh Lord bit, but I think you're right. And there's just something wicked-hot about that line.
I think the fourth stanza is right too. God, I love this song. (Read: God, I love this man.) I'm still having a hard time with "Let Me Sign" too. I have about half of it, and the rest iz mumbulz......
I had one of those random icon moments yesterday and was pissed, lol.

Let Me Sign is trickier, but this is what I've got:
Standing by a broken tree
Her hands are all twisted
She’s pawing at me
I was down by the light coming
All I see
Spoken in a voice that
Sheltered the skies
She says, Lord oh Lord all over, it’s a
Bitter shade
I will wrap you in my arms
And you say, let me sign
Let me sign
How's that line up with yours? We totally need to get him alone for an acoustic concert so we can check. I have an acoustic guitar in my bedroom....
Will I get the icon I want this time. Let's see....
Evidently not. Saucy Wench? What?!

OK, my lyics are nearly tit for tat. I had 'shattered' instead of sheltered, but I think you're right.
Um, yes, I'm all for impromptou guitar concerts! We need to be thorough in checking these lyrics. It's of the UTMOST importance. ;-)

Yet another thing to ask him about. I'm going to have to hog him for the while night, I'm afraid. Too many important questions to ask him. I'll have to give everyone at the cocktail party a list of questions and somehow make it a competition to see who can get the most answered.....only way it is going to work!
