2011 has been a crazy year for the world.

(The Arab Spring, Fukushima and the ensuing 180 in German energy politics, the ongoing Euro crisis and countless political affairs, the bombings in Oslo - formerly the most peaceful city of the world...)

So at this point, I'm just glad I'm still here and I'll live to tell the tale!

I had two wonderful photoshoots with Niklas a little while ago, one of them with my beloved Princess Ai costume. (My award-winning costume for the German Cosplay Championship 2007, but I never got the chance to wear it again and get more photos out of it.)

 After a pretty wearisome & uneventful week, I took Sunday off and spent all day sewing and making stuff for myself , yay ^.^

I made some progress on an original Lolita design for an upcoming photoshoot. I'd started working on the skirt and corsage weeks ago, but now I finally had some time to finish them. (I hate ruffles >_<)

My resolutions (if any) for 2010: focus and work harder.

Finish my dissertation, of course.

Just purchased my Dragon*Con membership *.*

Con season is over for me now, and I feel relieved... but I've already made 1 million plans for next year *lol*
