Damn, this was good! I could not stop reading, even though I am coming out of my ears with deadlines... will edit post later when I have the time.

Thank you. :) (I'm flattered and gratified in a guilty sort of way that I managed to distract you from work, heh heh.)

I'm on to your evil plan to bring down society through enslaving workers to your writing.

I loved the dialogue and also the way you write Adrian's perspective; he retains his intelligence and wit and... I find I can't care about a character unless I empathise with them in some way which you achieve in spades but yet manage to retain his arrogance.

Also, 'common ground'--aside from the obvious, you got me thinking again about how Adrian and Rorschach share similarities in their solutions (aka, with a giant sledgehammer).

Oh wow, I loved this - loved the way they interacted. You really have a knack for writing hatesex.

Thanks! Hatesex is, erm, my not-very-secret weakness.

I'm feeling bad for Adrian now, and I never care about Adrian! His detachment seems really contrived and tenuous in this story, and I guess that's maaaybe a feature of the character but this is the first time I've not been too distracted by his terribleness to care.

Ha, awesome. I guess I did kinda go for the 'Poor Little Homicidal Rich Boy' thing with this fic. I imagine it's pretty difficult to form relationships with people when you've accepted that you might have to kill them for the sake of your GRAND PLANS at some point.

"I'm willing to tolerate your absurd nocturnal habits, to a point, but I don't want you affecting productivity."
Oh Adrian, you enabler.

I love your Adrian.

It's a bit like unwrapping a very strange birthday present. One that might explode at any given second, perhaps.
This line is awesome.

"If you're going to betray your principles, then you might as well betray them thoroughly"
I love this. It sounds so Oscar Wilde.

Rorschach's right hand strays to the reddened flesh between his legs...
But he's a lefty?

This is so going in my collection. ♥

It sounds so Oscar Wilde.

Y'know, I never thought of that.

But he's a lefty?

Heh, I totally forgot. (Maybe that's why he's usually left-handed, though! Because his right hand is his terrible unclean 'ME TIME' hand. /excuse)

Anyway, thank you! (I'm going in your Boy's Folder, wooo.)

But he's a lefty?

I've known a few guys at least who preferred their non-dominant hand for business time. Why exactly is one of those mysteries of manhood, I guess :)

Seconding the above liking of Adrian here despite never liking Adrian. He's amusingly twisted, obviously bored and in need of something out of his control, and just as obviously in denial about it.

Thanks! (Heheh, I've always liked Adrian for the same reasons why I've always liked Rorschach - ie. he's a massive douche - so, I dunno, maybe he inherits some of Rorschach's horrible-yet-possibly-strangely-engaging traits when I write him.)

He's amusingly twisted, obviously bored and in need of something out of his control, and just as obviously in denial about it.

In Watchmen fic, everyone has to be in denial about something. :3

Oh man, good stuff. You're absolutely my favorite Adrian writer. I love how he's such an asshole, but also a kind of an understandable asshole. And your Rorschach was amazing, as always.

But yeah, not my favorite pairing and yet this is just the sort of awkward sex I love to see from you and now can't get enough of. SO AWESOME. XD

Thank you! :D (And I'm your favorite Adrian writer? Fuck yes. I feel like declaring this somewhere and lording it over everyone. 'I'm quietprofanity's favorite Adrian writer so there. *preens*')

I have to admit that this pairing is my guilty pleasure even though it makes even less sense than Rorschach/Daniel. I'm baffled by it.
