Your Adrian is way more convincing than GN or movie Adrian. You did a seriously brilliant job with him. If he told me everything was going to be all right, I would probably listen and go along with it.

When I was reading this and thinking about the various ways it could end, it occurred to me this could be one of those painfully elegant tragedies where the little tantalizing moments of NOT ENOUGH affection or sincerity or whatever turn out, in retrospect, to be the happiest moments of the story, and that's a statement on mortality and loss and how we never really see things clearly till we've lost them.

So...since I've already thought of that, you wouldn't want to do it, would you? Can I just call I SEE WHAT U MIGHT DO THERE and avert the tragedy, please?

FUCK YES. *fistpump* THANK YOU. I was always wondering how he'd turn out, since everyone already knows that he's a bit of a bastard from reading the GN - so it's kinda 'CURSE YOUR SUDDEN AND INEVITABLE BETRAYAL!' when it turns out that he's been up to no good.

I'm about 1200 words into chapter 14, so that's like... 1/4th done, maybe. :3 I think that endings are easily the most difficult bits, though.
