PS- What in the world was Carrie Underwood wearing?  Thank God she can sing (she sounded amazing!) because that outfit was a mess.  Girl needs to hire a new stylist.  I loved her rendition of the National Anthem, though.  It was beautiful.

Yesterday David Cook and the Anthemic played their last show. I'm not gonna lie, I'm upset! Even though I didn't go to a ton of shows, it is so nice having constant new performances, interviews, even tweets. And David and the boys got me back into music like I never thought I could. So within the past few weeks, 3 of my co-workers have gotten themselves the "Kate Gosselin" haircut.  All 3 ladies are young and previously had very nice, long-ish hair.  I mean, I get it.  Short hair is easier.  But what is UP with this hairstyle!  It's just not good, not good, lol.

I'm back home now and back with computer access.  I went to visit my sister and her husband for a week.  They live a few hours drive away, so I haven't seen them since the beginning of the summer.  I had a blast just hanging around and chatting.  It was sooo relaxing.  I really miss having my sister here in the same house with me sometimes :(
