[That's a pretty excellent tree you're sitting on, Pidge. Don't mind all that rustling. It's just the sound of something also-pretty-big and not very well-adapted to perching on trees making a not-so-graceful attempt to perch on the tree behind you. There is a pretty good chance that branches really are going to be breaking soon. Or that the tree may soon be on fire. That tail is wagging on an altogether hazardous manner.]

She stares at him for a minute before realizing that putting her shades on would be a good idea which is a little difficult when your ears are on the top of your head. as soon as she notices that it's him, she grins.]
