A red haired boy approached the gate of the academy, weary from having to travel all the way from Jhoto, and then having to locate the academy itself.

"Hmph, this place is too crowded..." he muttered, he was not at all pleased to be around more people in a day then he would have seen for months out in the wilderness and small towns of the region

[Amphy had been returning from the garden with an armful of berries for her trainer and fellow Pokémon; she skipped happily but wasn't watching where she was going and bumps into Silver, splattering berries all over the place.]

M-MEEEEH!? Meeeh! Meeeeeh!

[Frantic waving with her flippers and vigorous bowing.]

He brushed off the berries, only slightly irked by the unexpected mess. At least it's apologetic he thought to himself. Though he knew what he would be doing the moment he entered his dorm now.

Assuming that Morty knows him, Jasmine does, too.

Jasmine had wondered where her Ampharos had wondered off to and was shocked to suddenly spot her running into someone. Worried she ran up to the two and immediately apologized to the person Amphy had waltz into.

"Oh! I-I'm really sorry. My Ampharos likes to..." Her words nearly died in her throat when she saw who the person was, "... wander off sometimes...." Oh, wasn't this that one trainer Morty and her other fellow gym leaders once mentioned to her before? She had heard many a number of unlikable things about this trainer. ((Ackkk, mun doesn't know much about HGSS or anything, so forgive me if my assumptions are weird. ;A;)) Her anxiousness and shyness were temporarily being washed away with her dislike of him and his ethics. Placing a hand to calm Amphy down, Jasmine tried to remain composed and respectable.

"Um... Again, I'm sorry for the mess."

[Amphy was glad her trainer had come to voice her apology, at the same time very ashamed at herself for being careless. Her trainer had a strange reaction to this other boy though.]

Me-eeeh...?

[She looked between the two of them before stepping closer to Jasmine and tug at her sweater.]

Fate, it would seem, was determined to make sure Silver's annoyance wasn't brushed off for long. The shrill sound of a whistle broke the silence, followed by a little boy with an orange hall monitor sash marching his way up to the gate. As if a noisy whistle blast hadn't been irritating enough, however, it was apparently necessary to follow it up with a neverending stream of chatter

Irritated he took a step back, trying to understand everything the little boy was saying. Resisting the urge cause any sort of physical harm to the him he sighed and tried to unclench his fists as the chatter grated on every nerve of his being.

"Yes. I am visiting."

[lasereon]

"Oh! Well, that changes everything!" And right away, the suspicion evaporated.

The chatter, unfortunately, didn't. "In that case, you're definitely a good guy too! Welcome to Smash Acadmy, mister! My name is Casca and I'm a hall monitor. That means it's my job to make sure everyone's being good and playing by the rules. It also means I should try really hard to be as useful as I can, and since you're new here that means it's a good chance to be really useful! I know lots and lots about the school, y'know, even if I'm not big enough to be a student yet! I can answer any questions you've got, or give you a map, or let you borrow my copy of the rulebook -- it's got lots of big words, though, so it might be kinda hard to read. Or if you need something else, I can help you with it too! What's your name, mister? Whatcha need?"

[careful now Silver, there's a small mouse running about. She's not really watching where she's going and she's a trite bit hard to see. If you listen closely you can here a faint 'hmm hmm hmm!' or see a flash of white, but she's a quick little thing.]

Morty recognized this kid. He was one of the trainers that blew through his gym ((or at least mun is assuming so alalal HG events)). But this one seemed off a little. Where was the love for his pokemon? He had wondered how far Silver would get without it. And seeing him here, now. Well. How curious.

"My my... Even you are drawn to this place?"
