I've decided that I use the lol too much and I tried to restrain myself but it was HARD

So, I go to Amoeba yesterday for a mullet fest, aka a free show by Tegan & Sara. lol, I mean, they're pretty good performers, if totally inarticulate (I've taught 12 year-olds who were better public speakers). But what was especially funny was watching all the other people packed in among the music bins. I've never seen so many earnest liberal ( Read more... )

i thought it was hilarious, photos: mine, just an update

AAGGHH!!!

LMAO!

You absolutely take the cake at making my day all sparkly and filled with sunshine-y laughter!!!

It would probably frighten you to know that, not only do I have hair over the entirety of my legs, but, if I don't shave EVERY DAY it can get really scary... but good for exfoliating Matthew in the dead of night... poor guy!

first of all? I kind of love this icon of you! It's SO COOL. Sigh. I wish I was artistic.

And yeah, I literally found out like a year ago that MOST women are like you. When i was teaching, some girl started bitching about shaving her legs, and I was all WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL YOU JUST RUN IT OVER YOUR SHINS IT TAKES A COUPLE SECONDS? and then the entire class looked at me like i was an IDIOT. And then they explained that they shave their shins and calves and knees and thighs and upper thighs and the BACKS OF THEIR THIGHS and I was all OMG SERIOUS? and they were all HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW THIS and I was all HEY I DON'T HAVE HAIR THERE and they were all BUT WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT YOU'RE NORMAL and I was all HEY ON RAZOR COMMERCIALS THEY'RE ONLY SHAVING THEIR SHINS!!!

lol, as you can see, it was an eye-opening experience. And now? I have a HUGE respect for women who have to shave regularly. If I had to? lmao I'm way to lazy, I'd just look like a yeti and let it go as a "lifestyle choice."

...I only found out maybe a year ago that some women had hair on their ENTIRE legs, and not just their shins.

How is that even possible? I've had hair all over my legs since I was 9 or something.

*sigh* Some people are lucky I guess.

Here via kaskait by the way. Mind if I add you? Your tales of body hair are truly intriguing.

lol, well being asian has to have SOME advantages. lack of body hair versus turning red as a beet from one bottle of beer.

And no problem! Though, I have to warn you that there's almost no Harry Potter here, just me babbling about my personal life and the random shit that cracks me up. So if after a week, you get horribly bored and run off, once again, no problem. ;)

And I have to warn you that I'm nowhere near obsessed with Harry Potter as the rest of LJ seems to be. I just read the books once and that's it.

Babbling about personal life wins easily. It's as close to fulfilling my stalkerish tendencies without the fear of getting arrested as it can get.

Added.

Hee, I was about to CHIME IN with you against the Dictator. Of course, it's probably just as well that it didn't end up going through, because the 'chiming in' was really just a long way of saying "YEAH! WHAT SHE SAID!", since I am mature like that.
Anyway, I actually remembered Benign Girl from a year back. (I was trying to find Asian equivalents of Barbie dolls that actually looked Asian.) Too bad they don't have 'Harmless Boy' to go along with her.

lol, dictator! Oh well, for whatever reason sarah likes this person, which is the only reason I didn't make a bigger scene than I did.

I was trying to find Asian equivalents of Barbie dolls that actually looked Asian.
LOL GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. About as likely as finding an anime character who looks asian, lol. I laugh, but it makes me sad when I think about it. I've taught Korean girls that got eyelid surgery at 16 because their parents pressured them so badly. Ugh.

Anyways... SO NICE TO MEET YOU! :)
