Well, I use it more often than I used to haul out the mop & bucket, if that helps ;-)

In Florida, we had tile in the kitchen, foyer, and bathrooms only... well, hell, you were there. I mopped every 4-6 weeks and Swiffered in between.

Here we have hardwood on the entire first floor (kitchen, family room, foyer, formal living & dining room) and I use the floormate every 4-6 weeks when I have a working Roomba to vacuum up all the dust, gunk, and Cheerios! The mop comes out only for the tile bathrooms since it seems wasteful to fill the Floormate up with "tile" cleaner vs. "hardwood" cleaner... I'm embarrassed to say but I've probably only mopped the bathrooms 6 or 7 times in the almost 2 years we've lived here.

Don't be embarrassed about your cleaning habits. You have twin boys. I am sure that you don't have much time to deep clean. I don't even have a child yet. I am just a slacker. I won't tell you the last time I dusted. I plan to clean everything this weekend though since Dave will be working.

In other words... I have all hardwood where you have all tile, like a typical FL house. Buy it - you'll love it!

I remember only positive comments on the Floormate when I last posted about it on GANBABB (I think Jocelyn wanted to name the baby after it) so I think I will go out and get one this weekend. We have a bit of extra money after paying all the bills so it can be a gift (not sure if that is the right word when it comes to floors) for me. But if it makes cleaning easier I am definitely for it. Thanks.
