Those shots the Doctor got... People say we shouldn’t be worried, he’s coming back, yadda yadda, and he probably is... but right now I can’t POSSIBLY see how that is so. THEY BURNED HIS BODY. I’m just... lost.
I thought that was interesting, too, to finally be in on the Spoiler.

I might just go with what Bailey suggested, which is that he's lying on his back with his legs wrapped around her waist. 8D

O_O DOCTOR YOU DOG.

There have been spoiler pictures of the Doctor’s costume ALREADY changing by the end of the second half of S6. Soooo yeah, something fishy... and not Jim the Fish. :)

Amy’s totally not pregnant. Refuse to believe it as actual Big Secret. I have a couple theories brewing, some of which I wrote about on my LJ.

MY POOR HEART. IT'S BEEN THROUGH TOO MUCH.

I know. Honestly, the only way I think he's going to get out of this is if they rewrite time. Or if -- and this is a long shot, but you never know -- if it turns out that wasn't the real Doctor. I don't think it's LIKELY, but hey, we know there are some episodes involving cloning coming up.

As for Amy's pregnancy, I'm kind of torn. On the one hand, the fact that she drinks the wine does support the idea that maybe she's not pregnant and the Silence are just making her think she is. On the other hand, I read or heard in some interview that Amy's pregnancy is "really important" or something, and I still think the kid might be hers, so I'm not sure. I'M SO CONFUSED I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO BELIEVE

[I mean I was shocked when Eleven got shot (both before and during his regeneration) but my logical side was like "SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE. THIS WILL BE FIXED." but Amy's reaction is what really tore me apart.]

I really, really envy you the shock value of that scene. Because I was accidentally spoiled by the BBC's INCREDIBLY STUPID DECISION to post pictures of 11 getting shot and starting to regenerate THE DAY BEFORE THE EPISODE AIRED, and so I already knew what was going to happen. AUGH.

[But this also assumes that their theory about future!Doctor sending the envelopes and numbering them in order of people he trusts is actually what's happening. That could just be some red herring.]

Yeah, I kind of agree, actually. I mean, it seems to me more like he just numbered them so that they'd realize that one more person had been invited. I kind of feel like River's line about "Who does he trust the most?" was really more for dramatic effect. I mean, I certainly don't think that he trusts Canton fourth out of everyone in the universe, for ( ... )

THERE WERE SO MANY THINGS ABOUT THIS EPISODE THAT I ADORED BUT I CAN'T EVEN WITH IT. I love how the first episode is already a two part, thaaaanks Moffat.

I loved Doctor x River so much. :)
And um, there's theories on tumblr - maybe LJ too(?) - that the kid is Amy's child & the Doctor is the father or that the kid is River? Oh my god, so much I want to know already.

I'm pretty sure Timelords don't reproduce sexually, so I doubt the Doctor is the kid's father...but the kid!River theory is certainly an interesting one...

AMY AND RORY AND THEIR ADORABLE KITCHEN IN THEIR ADORABLE HOUSE AND RORY BRINGING HOME ADORABLE GROCERIES AND TRYING TO GET AMY INTO LAUREL AND HARDY AND CUDDLING WITH HER ON THEIR ADORABLE SOFA WITH THEIR ADORABLE TV REMOTE.

ALL OF THIS. SO HARD.

I was dying of adorableness when I first saw that scene and seriously for a moment just wanted the whole episode to be Rory and Amy being cute and married. (DOCTOR WHO (?) INDEED) PLUS, SUNFLOWERS ON THE WINDOW SILL. I refuse to believe it was a coincidence. Mostly, because Vincent and the Doctor remains my favourite episode ever and I'm not even exaggerating. If I could've decided the aftermath of that episode, Vincent van Gogh would be a new companion right alongside Amy. (And Rory, because I do love Rory so very, very much ( ... )

[PLUS, SUNFLOWERS ON THE WINDOW SILL. I refuse to believe it was a coincidence.]

I would so love to read a fic where Amy tries to explain to Rory that the "Sunflowers" painting was dedicated to her and he's just like "No way. Nuh-uh" and she's like "I'M SERIOUS, VINCENT VAN GOGH HAD A CRUSH ON ME" and he's all "PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN."

[I can appreciate her awesomeness on paper, but Alex Kingston just isn't working for me. I don't get what it is and I'm so annoyed with myself that I can't fully embrace her character. (Because obviously she's going to have a large part in this series and I'd love to love her)]You know, to be honest, I felt the same way, up until this episode, and then, I don't know, something changed for me. Maybe it's the fact that they've upped the ante on the flirting, maybe it's just that Alex is growing on me, maybe it's got more to do with the Doctor acting differently around her now, but I'm becoming gradually more and more okay with her character and with this ship in general. Of course 11/Amy will always ( ... )
