Sorry, Luke, I can't do that. I'll try to rendezvous with you if I can at some point, but I promised to keep her safe and all.

But if you need me to do anything while I'm going about, let me know! Once you start taking the affected to Daemon, I might have to stop hiding ...

I guess you won't really tell me much more than that, huh? Alright, I'll just have to trust you on this. Keep yourself as safe as possible, and if you can get to us, at least let Jade give you something to protect yourself with, alright?

As for what you can do ... ask Daemon if he needs any help with getting the rest of them together, maybe. And do me a favor; keep an eye out for Li. I don't think anyone has a clue where he is right now ...

Put shortly, Yuuko apparently broke her contract while telling someone's fortune. I'm not really sure of the details myself, I only really got a basic explanation of it, but it should have killed her. Instead, she sent her powers into some of the other people here, hence the ... freakiness. ... well, and apparently Jing and Mint are trying to take those powers. It's ... not safe, with them out there right now. So ...

I'm calling everyone to me because if you're with me, I can make sure you get out of the building and I can keep you protected from anything - or anyone - in the process. And then I'm bringing you all to Mui until this is all fixed up ... which it should be soon enough, we just need Ast cleared out first.

That sounds like it might be the best plan. I don't really like the idea of leaving her here alone, but it sounds like it could be really dangerous if anyone else is in the building.

I daresay I can protect myself - or arrange matters so that a prospective attacker's attention is elsewhere - but if it will put you at ease...

I would also like to offer my services as an illusionist to cover our retreat - I doubt I can make the entire population of the building invisible, but I could perhaps direct Jing and Mint's attention to an illusory double of the group for a short time. I would need to know something of the nature of our defenses, however. For instance, would this barrier we will be travelling under mask our sounds? A purely visual illusion is, as you can imagine, somewhat easier to maintain.

Hm ... I think I could make it mask the sound to anyone outside of it, yeah; it's forged out of sound's power, after all.

If necessary, once everyone's in Mui, if anyone goes after them, would you be able to use your illusions again to offer some form of protection?
