Country music rant

Last night, Abbie and I were helping some friends paint their new apartment. They had a country music radio station playing, which for the most part is fine with me, being from Tennessee and all. But I was annoyed at the lack of variety. Country music stations play a very limited playlist from a even more limited pool of bands and singers

i think that the other hit country song is "baby baby, i love you so much, in a totally nonsexual, Christian way! yes i sure do!" i, too, have listened to country in the past and even though i like it pretty well, i'm a bit surprised at how unchanging it is--there is very little difference between today's country songs and songs that were being sung 10 or 15 years ago.
