Um, this is freaking wonderful. And it IS sexy, because it wasn't super-raunchy, but because (as corny as this sounds) it's so much sexier when the two people have mutual trust and love. Seeing Alfred so vulnerable and the way Ivan took care of him....was just lovely to read.
I've loved the whole of this fic, it's been original and well-written, as well as totally pulling on my heartstrings!
Also, although this probably sounds stupid and obvious, but thanks for including the use of a condom - it sounds like an obvious thing, but it's not done enough in fic.

Indeed. Trust and love are the things that make sex meaningful in the long run. I'm glad it was a nice read!

I sort of wonder at the lack of condoms myself. I felt that, especially considering Alfred's past situation, he would, more than the average person, appreciate the importance of safe sex and be sure one was used.

God, this was just what I needed after work (which, work wasn't bad, just reeeeaally busy). This is gorgeous. Gorgeous. The awkwardness, Ivan being captivated by Alfred (and wanting to be), Alfred soothing Ivan... sheesh, it's perfect in my book.

(Work is work, and everyone could use a good fic after work!) Thank you~! Think of how they would interact really was the hardest part of this (Hence what made it take forever to get out....) but I'm glad to see it was well worth the time spent!

I wasn't entirely sure if I was going to at first, but it just seemed like it needed to be done.

I'm so glad you wrote this...it was beautiful. And have no worries you really did this subject justice ...they're inner thoughts, humor to lighten the mood, everything was so well done. I bawled like a baby at the end but it was really good. I can't thank you enough for putting one more chapter of hope out there. Thank goodness! I'm sorry that you cried though. ;_; The ability to overcome and go from victim to survivor is definitely the major theme of this, and I'm glad that came across well in their interactions.

I am at a weird point in my brain because I just found smut adorable. It's sexy while being both sweet and cute and the same time.

I loved how both of them were insecure yet reassuring each other and bantering.

And "Victory Cuddles" and Ivan explaining what he said had me giggling.
