What would a "Digitalian" be like if it actually existed?
Like an invisible man, I guess. "Something that exists really close to you, but cannot actually be seen", so to speak.
Ever had a moment that made you think, "This might just be "Digitalian"?"
Umm... well, Digitalian is actually a made up word that mixes "Human" or "Manpower" with "Digital" or "Electric". So in that sense, no (laugh). Hence I've never had a moment like that, and anything can work, really.
A brief comment for yourself from 15 years back
I think it's only now that I'm able to say things like, "It would have been better if I did it this way back then", so there isn't anything I want to say to myself. Even if I do, it's probably something along the lines of, "There are people who will die over these next few years, so try and meet as many of them as possible while you can". Other than that... I'm not talking about a time slip in this case, but even if I were to return to the past, I wouldn't want to change history either way.
A brief comment for each member
For each member, huh... I don't really want to say anything. That's because it truly feels like we're all focused on the core of our group right now. Like Leader with his choreography, the rap lyrics that Sho-kun writes for us like "Take Off!!!!!" from this album, Aiba-kun's editorial supervision over our tour goods, and Nino writing lyrics for our songs. I feel like we have this really strong sense of belonging in regards to this place called Arashi where we're all working together. That includes the way we each face one another as well as the distance we keep. That's how it's like for me, anyway... Even though we have our own respective roles, the five of us are all performers. This isn't limited to concerts; we're spurred on by the support of many different people, and I think... we really are like the "eye of the storm". It feels like we're keeping a comfortable distance and facing a good direction in the center of that swirling mass. Uh... I sort of went off on a complete tangent, didn't I? Sorry (laugh).
What is Arashi like to you at present time?
If reincarnation exists, then this is something like the present life. I guess it's something like "A place where I take on challenges". That's the primary goal since after all, the five of us were gathered together for the sake of work, and in our case that work would be more like... music, or something to do with entertainment. I love entertainment which makes it possible to do certain things, but there are moments when that makes it difficult as well. And that's, well... it feels kind of present life-ish, doesn't it? That's what we're learning at the moment! We're enlightening our souls! Or something like that (laugh).
