AWESOME! Was it fun to make? I'm thinking of making one that looks like a watermelon...

THANKS! I did enjoy making it. It was a lot of fun watching the spirals form, and it seemed to move pretty quickly considering the simplicity of the pattern. I think a watermelon blankey would be really cute! You could go back and sew on seeds and everything!

Love the blanket! Now I have an idea of what to make while I'm bored out of my mind on my way to school :)

It's a great pattern for mindless knitting. I do tech support for the local ISP, and I spend a lot of time waiting for people to reboot and stuff, so I have to entertain myself somehow, but I can't do anything too complex or I'd lose my place. The increases are easy to predict, and it's still just interesting enough to keep me knitting.

Have fun!

It's so cute, the colors you chose are so fun and bright! I just made this blanket in pink and green for a co-worker who's expecting. I did the same thing, 3 rows of seed stitch, and it still curled.

I think more seed would do the trick... I LOVE how seed looks, I HATE to knit seed! I chose these colors because it's for a boy, and I didn't want to do anything pastel or girly. I hope this might be his security blankey as he gets older, I really want to see it used.

Thanks! Have fun with the pattern, I know I did. I'm actually thinking about picking up some darker, bulkier yarn and making one for myself in time for fall...

No! Must whittle away stash first!!! >

Love the saturated colors! I find that if I crochet on the right side then do another row of crochet facing WS my edges never curl again!

Wow, that's a really good idea! It would feel weird to pick up a hook again, but I think I remember enough to pull it off.

I did this for my Tivoli tee and it hasn't curled yet!
