Rainbow Pinwheel Blankey
PATTERN:
Round or Pinwheel Baby BlanketI did 40 rounds red, 20 rounds yellow, 15 rounds green, 10 rounds blue, 8 rounds purple, with the last 3 rounds in seed stitch.
YARN: 5 skeins Plymouth Dreambaby (red, yellow, green, blue, purple)
I know, I know, there's orange in a rainbow, but my LYS was out of that color, and meh, it's still cool.
NOTES: The edges curl quite a bit. I can probably go around a crochet it down a bit if I really feel like it, but were I to do this again, I would switch to seed stitch about 10 rounds earlier than I did. However, I intend this blanket to be used and dragged around, so I'm not worried about it.
I was totally amused by how it looked while I was working on the green portion. It was on circs, of course, and there were just the red, yellow and green, and my boyfriend told me it looked like I was knitting a giant Rasta Tam.
