Felting Party

Mar 09, 2006 02:52

Last night was fantabulous. I just have the greatest family ever. We all got together to celebrate Amanda's and Dave's birthdays. I gave her the blue/green Clapotis I made with the WotA I hand-dyed. She loved it. I'm also going to make her a newsboy hat out of the leftover skein from that dyelot ( Read more... )

So I was looking through my stash with Melissa the other day (no light feat mind you) and I realized I have so much yarn I have that needs to go to a home that will use it. So, stash cleaning is in my future. And of course you and melissa have first dibs.

Thanks! We had sooo much fun felting them, too. There were many "warm, wet and wooly" jokes. We're such a bunch of pervs. :)

Hey, I'd love to take some stash off your hands. I'm in Brokeland, so every little bit helps!

Hi!

Hopefully this is the best way to contact you -- tried to find an email address but didn't see one on your userinfo. I saw in one of knitting's archives that you had made Josephine but with Lamb's Pride Bulky instead of the suggested yarn. Adriafil Charme is way out of my price range as well and I was looking for substitute yarns. I was wondering how Lamb's yarn worked for you and whether you would recommend using it for this project. I would love to see photos of the finished work, if you have any. I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know how it turned out :) My email address is zarrin (at) vt.edu.

Thank you so much! Happy knitting :)

Hi! I have not yet knit Josephine, as I got busy with other projects and now it's too warm for me to think about... but I can still give you some suggestions, as I did a LOT of research and planning for this project, even though I haven't gotten to it yet ( ... )

Hi, I saw your question about Josephine to SavyKnitter. I am wondering if you made it and if you had success. I love it too but don't know what yarn to use. If you have any suggestions, please e-mail me mjfeldberg@yahoo.com
with knitting as the subject so I don't trash it.
THANKS!
Melissa
