Oh! This was so heartbreaking. Poor Jim. Poor Bones. Even poor Sam, though I'm a wee bit upset with him.

I am happy to see Jim and Bones becoming closer. Jim needs to tell Bones what he is doing now, with Pike. Sheltering someone isn't a good idea. especially not something as big as what I suspect Jim and Pike are up to.

Such a heartbreaking story. That push pull going on inside Jim, the need to protect his brother paired with a deep resentment at the cost. The hatred of Frank paired with the need for any scrap of affection he can find. I'm so glad Bones didn't just let him walk away. What Jim needs, the only thing that will do any healing is genuine love and affection, if he can just believe he's got it.
