[RL with Byakuya ] In which our intrepid Strawberry takes on Soul Society's educational system

Ichigo came barreling through the Senkaimon gate, with a yell, and skidded to a halt.
Leaning over, gasping, Ichigo glared back at the closing gate. One would think that being invited to Soul Society would mean that one would not have to run for their lives through the Dengai...but, apparently no one thought to send a Hell Butterfly along, too.

Byakuya had heard word that Ichigo had arrived unceremoniously (unsurprising) already. After he dismissed the servant in the Kuchiki manor, he dropped his calligraphy brush and grabbed his Zankpakuto.

Of all the ridiculous orders he had been given over the past three hundred years, this had got to be the worst one. Though, duty preceded over his desire to crush the boy and move along; Byakuya was obligated to do so for the greater good of Soul Society.

He could have been cruel, come to think of it. He could have just had Kenpachi meet the representative shinigami to buy him more time, hopefully they would finish each other off and that would be the end of that.

"Do you do everything lacking grace?" He asked as soon as he found Ichigo, "Or do you just feel the need to destroy everything?"

Ichigo glared balefully at his tormenter teacher.
"Well someone neglected to send a Hell Butterfly along, so I had to haul ass."
The redhead resisted the urge to continue that statement with 'So piss off!'. See? he was being extremely civil.

Finally having caught his breath, Ichigo stood up straight, and crossed his arms over his chest with barely veiled hostility.
"So...let's get this show started. Where to, Byakuya?"

Ichigo vaguely remembered where the Kuchiki manor was from previous visits to Soul Society, but in the spirit of civility, would let Byakuya stay in the lead.

"We are going to a academy. They have a specialized room for the new recruits to learn how to focus."

Byakuya knew better than take him to the estate. Byakyua's pride wouldn't allow the representative to even step foot on his property to learn something as simple as Kidou. One, he was not a Kuchiki and he would never learn Kidou the way that Yoruichi and Genrei taught him.

He walked slowly on purpose, making Ichigo feel the weight of what was going to take place.

Ichigo grit his teeth, and followed Byakuya.

Truth be told, he was a bit curious about the shinigami academy, and how it all worked. Having had something of a crash course, Ichigo wondered if learning things slowly, in a classroom made a difference?

"...So, this is the same place Rukia learned, huh?"
See how nice he's being? Even making civil conversation. Rukia-bunny would be so proud.
