Although, not sure why he's standing with a Visitor protest. At this point, I don't think he would do anything like that without the go-ahead from everybody else in The Resistance. I'd have to think that Erica knows what he's doing.

I actually like the spec that Jack's involvement with the protest has something to do with Anna visiting The Vatican because then, in my mind, that doesn't make Jack SO stupid. He'd be doing what he's doing out of duty to the Catholic Church or something. He might feel like he has no other option or that he has to stand up for his parish or something to that effect

I wonder if that writer was Kenneth Johnson. He's the creator of the show, so maybe not, but that's really cool that your friend got to hear that writer speak.

Oh, totally. I think they'll be moving forward with Jack/Erica in Season 2, it's just a matter of when and how much. I'd love to see more little moments here and there. I think a fancy party where she's all dressed up and looking gorgeous would be a great time for that, so...we'll see :)
Of course, I'd be okay with more sexy sweaty boxing.
