Summary: Aiden dreams of the things he wants, but has trouble admitting, even to himself. But maybe dreams and reality aren’t always so far apart.

This is so fantastic and heartbreaking (even with the happy ending)! Your writing and characterization are stunning. Absolutely stunning. You've got our Maiden boys down so right. Those text messages; I'm starting to believe they happened. You've really got Matt's smiley faces and kisses down pat. LOL. Aiden has the hardest (lol, pun intended?) crush ever and I would've felt more sorry for him if his dreams weren't so smoking. Hotness aside, I really loved your dream descriptions, they were so surreal and thus believable as dreams (e.g., random psychedelic flowers blooming in the room, Matt naked one second then not in the next). Both of their vulnerability and insecurities are endearing and definitely in-character because when you're so in love how could you not be?

(Loved, loved the bonus One Direction bits and Aiden's awesome, beautiful mum!)

This is really, really good. I love it when someone's writing makes me interested in the characters and their situations and feelings, and not just the sex! I love their snarky interaction, it seems realistic, and Aiden's conflicting emotions. Also, your description of .. well, everything, is just totally spot on and lovely, and it feels like it flows well and naturally. I really enjoy your style! and I like the little bits you tie in together, like Aiden buying the monkey hat, and stuff.

The details you got in there were amazing and I loved the flow of the whole thing, I was simultaneously looking forward to what would happen next and dreading reaching the end!
I think you got Matt and Aiden down perfectly. Honestly one of the best characterisations of these guys I've read! Loved it!
