Is there any chance of finding out just what the situation is with Peter Mohan and his team of writers, are they still making scripts for the show or are they holding out with the slimist of hope that Lifetime will throw them an anchor, i mean i don't know much about pitching a programme, but surely Lifetime was not the only channel they submitted their idea to?

disgrunntled in foggy Scotland.

This is a letter I recived from a close friend that gives you some info about whats going on

My contact at kaleidoscope emailed me an hour ago, saying that the TPTB
are currently drafting a response and strategy for the situation and she
will pass it along as son as she gets it.

I have NO idea how long it takes to draft and write such a thing.
I hope it might be today - or at least within a few days ...

But it will go on BloodTiesCentral, KyleSchmidCentral and Dylan
NealCentreal and to your LJ as soon as I get it.

I figure she'll also mail it to the BloodLines webmasters.

I know there are ideas for season two, but whether any scripts have been
written yet, I don't know.

Thank you very much for taking the time to do this and of course to pass on the information that you have got. I hope and pray that this matter will be resolved and that Blood Ties will be saved from deletion as many fans have voted with their hands and their tireless emailing and phone calling to get someone to listen to our plight.

Unfortunately, that would potentially make the Canadian writers scabs. The WGC has come out in support of the WGA and has asked its members not to take scab work in the US.
