The Rematch
She now knew that he didn’t listen to her whenever she talked to him in her office. Because if he did, then he would have known that she knew how to use a gun.
Stupid Shinn.
She watched in amusement as he gave her instructions on how to use the black weapon. And unlike the raven haired boy, the blonde listened to the words that came out of his mouth.
“Use both hands to hold it until you get the experience to use it with only one hand.”
Shinn looked at her with his ruby eyes. They had a sense of joy in them and she knew the reason why it did so. The younger boy probably thought that there was something that he had done that Cagalli hadn’t.
Because of her nature, the blonde had piloted a Gundam before and that was the thing Shinn excelled in. Therefore he couldn’t give her lessons in that. She also knew that he wanted to spend more time with her but her busy schedule wouldn’t usually allow it.
“Here, you try it.”
The boy handed the gun to her and she positioned it in her hands properly, causing Shinn to frown a little but he didn’t say anything. Officers that were also practicing their aim were now starring at them, obviously aware that the Head Representative of Orb knew how to use a gun.
When Shinn turned to see what she was looking at, Cagalli signalled them not to say anything by shaking her head. The officers nodded lightly and then went back to their shooting, smirking as they did so.
“Geez, don’t know what their problem is…”
Shinn mumbled as he turned back to Cagalli.
“Hmm…maybe they’re surprised that a girl is learning how to use a gun.” He grunted in agreement and missed her smirk.
The blonde decided not to say anything…because she liked the time they spent together.
