The Taylor Family: Week Six
From the Week Five: Leo and Kayla went to college together, got engaged, and were quite adorable together - it was a pretty slow week for them, to be perfectly honest.

big event: nothing - the week goes on like normal
As soon as Leo and Kayla move into their new apartment, they make things official and Kayla joins the family.
As you can see, they took the next step in the whole "getting married and having a family" thing.
Would you look at that - it's like Kayla knew what their ROS event was this week! *pats on head*
Since I'm relying on jobs a little more this generation, Leo quickly heads to the paper to find a job to pay for future pets and offspring.
This was the best-paying job, so he quickly snatched it up (and maybe it was his LTW? I don't recall).
Aw, old college buddies keeping in touch.
But seriously, you two just gradauted like yesterday, it hasn't been that long, Samara.
Leo tried to adopt a pet, but it turns out you need to have some cash and they spent all their money on partially furnishing their new place, so he had to get some money before he went into his first day of work.
Kayla did not contribute to the family income at the moment.
She didn't need to help out, though - they soon had enough money to buy a pet!

She quickly makes herself at home.

OK, at this point, you might be a tad confused.
Something was weird with their apartment. I first noticed it when Kayla was pregnant but hadn't gotten her first bump, even after a couple of days. It said she was pregnant but I couldn't speed it up and ending the pregnancy and getting her pregnant again didn't seem to work. Then I noticed that they weren't aging - it was Wednesday or so, but they still had the regular 29 days of adulthood left. So, I cheated Kayla a baby, but he wouldn't really grow up either - so, after way too much work, I got him to toddlerhood.

He's a Kayla clone, since I had to cheat him, but that just means he's ADORABLE!
Since no one was aging, though, we had to leave their apartment, so they got to start over in the duplex where Joel Perry first moved in before his family got too big. Luckily this seemed to work and they began aging normally again, so they had a few extra days that'll screw up their ages slightly, especially Ajax who is now starting the week as a toddler, but whatever, I didn't want to totally mess things up and not end on Sunday night like I always do.
Leo approves of his new house - or, at least, the bathtub.
Roux has her own little bed, but she prefers the floor.

Ajax is adorable, but I want a child who's a combo of Kayla and Leo, so Ajax needs a sibling!
We finally got Roux a scratching post so she can stop going after the baby
Ajax does not like being caged in, but he's adorable no matter what his emotion.
No wonder, when you see his daddy.

Please don't glitch on me as well, new apartment.
Ajax and Roux are going to be buds, I can tell - they can bond over the "x"s in their names.
Domestic life can be a bit dull, huh, Kayla?

And nothing else was going on, so it's time for a new baby!
Meet the adorable Percy! Leo and Kayla are into Greek mythology-related names, if you didn't notice.
He still has all of his mother's features, but maybe he won't look so alike.
Ajax is quite interested in the new family addition.
And now he's excited by his big-boy hands!

He looks like a male version of Kayla, but as we already established, that just means that he is adorable.
I need a new word at this point.
Kayla bonds with her clone.
Ajax enjoys using his bigger limbs to go play outside without needing help getting up and down the stairs.
And Percy is perfectly fine relying on others for now.
As soon as Percy grows up, Kayla is sad that there aren't any babies in the house.
Definitely looks like his mother, but I think he's a little more of a mix.

Leo is already tired of all these children running around, but now he has...

Ajax: I don't want to grow up because then I'm going to have to get married and have kids because this neighborhood is all about traditional families and following old roles and all that.
Hey, I need the community to grow! If you were real then you could do what you want, but you are a SIM!
And I am arguing with you.
*sighs*
Leo wants some time with his wife, but Roux doesn't seem to approve of that idea too much.

Baby #3 will be here...
...next week! That's it for the Taylor family this week, which was extra long thanks to their glitchy first apartment and such. The new baby will probably show up that first day, so we have a week of other families to get through where Kayla waddles all around town with her huge belly.
Notes:
- I really don't know what was up with their first apartment - they were the first family I moved in and I've been scared to try someone else. I really like the apartment and I want it to be normal, so not moving anyone in means that it could still be fine - right? Does anyone know what might be wrong - it didn't seem like there was anything wrong, it's just that no one could age and therefore not have babies, apparently, although ACR said that Kayla was pregnant.
