Last Time: The boys finished their college experiences with plenty of romance and studying - Pip spent most of his time doing the former while the twins did a bit of both and ended up heading back home with their college degrees and ready to call their significant others to move in. The remaining Dasani boy, Oliver, got kind of ignored and ended up channeling that angst into a punk makeover before he headed home.
Neve and Lee, the two newbies, get to know each other over the newly-made-over green dining area.
They're very excited to be here, but that's probably because they know this isn't an ISBI and that the family is already rebuilding their wealth.
Much of that money is gone right now, though, because the house got a nice makeover to make room for the new spouses and the next generation.
This is the second floor, complete with an open landing and most of the bedrooms...
...and the first floor is mostly the same other than all the bedrooms that have been converted to future bedrooms for new kids.
Marley apparently spent a little too much time thinking about his boyfriend back in college and now studying, or at least not studying chess strategies when playing against himself.
I love all the green in this picture - GREEN FOR THE WIN!
Why yes, green is my favorite color, what tipped you off?
Marley: You know, now that we have so much money, we should really invest in some instruments so that we crank out some genius children. No reason...
Eb: *too busy eating to care*
Eb and Neve are ready to bring that new, genius generation into the world.
While Eli is clearly missing his wife and wants attention - so he finds his daughter's husband?
Poor guy also seems to have some joint issues - no wonder, since he's 70 days old! I fear that we've come to the end of Eli's reign as family patriarch.
I would expect this more from Eb, but I guess twin genes are strong.
As you might recall (but probably not, since it was months ago), Eli wants some relatives to get married, and since he doesn't have much time left, we better get to it!
Oliver cleaned up a bit from his punk makeover, and Pip really cleaned up.
Lee is quite excited to get married, while Marley is a bit more subdued.
Not the moment to do this, Melody.
I'll forgive you, though, Neve - go and bring the next generation into the world!
Marley and Lee: *are oblivious*
Pip: Hey, dad! Hey, did you miss me? Hey, anyone listening?
Don't worry, Pip, Grandpa is here to welcome you!
I see where Eb gets his fashion sense from. Shouldn't you be checking on your puking girlfriend right now?
*pretty scenery*
Now that she's emptied her stomach, Neve is ready to fill it up again.
Everyone else has no excuse for bad manners.
Moss: So, Eli, how have you been doing lately?
Moss: You know, your inheritence will really help with this future baby...
Neve: Um, please don't bring me into this.
Neve: I'm sorry, baby, I'll try to keep you out of this as well.
Eb: So, Dad thinks the money is more important than my grandfather? I'd like to see how he feels when he's 70 years old...
Happy family memories.
And yet it was a success? Ok.
You get those skills, Eli - not that you'll need them soon, but be productive!
I'm trying to cram as many cute moments into this update for Eli as possible, so it's grandfather-grandson bonding time.
He quickly bores of that, though.
I don't care that I was preparing for this - I'M NOT READY!
My baby. D:
Eli: Wait, I won't be alone anymore? Christy is there? Where do I sign up!
Well, at least he's happy at the end.
And where is his beloved family while he perishes in the bathroom?
Well, Melody finally wandered in - and rather than mourn, she DECIDED TO USE THE FACILITIES. WHILE THE URN IS STILL THERE.
Classy.
Now he's with his wife in both worlds. Too bad I didn't have them long enough to get them perma-plat after recreating them.
Now she notices that her father is gone.
And Eb noticed that his grandpa is gone.
And life moves on as Neve pops at the same time.
Marley: It's like there's a void in my life now.
Lee: Hmm, and how could we bring new life into the house?
Not the moment, Lee, not the moment.
Moss apparently feels bad for hitting his father-in-law up for the inheritence.
Hello pretty Freya Hart - maybe you can join the legacy later on! (At least, I think she's why I kept this picture)
After the larger ceremony for Marley and Lee, Eb and Neve decide to just get married in their bedroom.
Neve: Hello, husband!
Eb: Hello, wife!
Hello, weirdos!
But cute weirdos!
Not the moment, Lee - please back away from your new sister-in-law as she bathes.
Marley: Hey, wasn't it great when we did well in college?
Eb: Just shut up and move already.
Neve: *grows large with new life*
Eb and Marley: *mostly don't care*
Nice, wolf, real nice.
And now we has more new life on the way!
But you two are DONE.
Nice try - you'll get there!
*72 years later* You did it!
Now that Lee is already knocked up, these two decided to bond using different means.
O.O
I'd be scared, Marley.
*is too adorable to care*
Please don't hurt him.
REALLY?!
I locked them in one of the empty bedrooms with some of Grandma's Comfort Soup until they got over it - I have way too many flu cases in my BACC to deal with it here as well.
She might be an almost-grandmother, but that does not mean that she's automatically an amazing chef.
And she's about to be an almost-grandma no more!
Melody: I'm not ready! I don't fit the stereotype at all!
New Baby: *doesn't care and is born anyway*
Meet the first baby of generation six, Zoe Dasani! She got her skin and eye colors from her father and her hair color from her mother, so a little bit of a mix.
Motherhood looks good on Neve.
Lee isn't one to be shown up, though, and he promptly pops again.
And with that, that's all for this update! I already have all the pictures ready for the next update, so hopefully I'll actually get that up soon.
Notes:
- Since I had to recreate Melody and Moss when I updated my game, they'll get to be adults a bit longer before they actually become elders - on the off chance that you're wondering why they don't go grey for a while.
- I just spent a SUPER long time making a new and improved family tree - it was not fun going through all the low quality pictures of the early generations to find some decent pictures. I'll post it after the next update because it has Lee's future offspring. I'll try to keep it regularly updated, but we'll see how that goes.
