The Pleasant Family: Week Four

Jan 11, 2016 23:07

Featuring Sims by OliveSpecter

From the round-up of Week Three, this is what happened in the Pleasant household last time: Lilith and Angela moved to town along with Lilith's daughter, Eve; they both attempted to find love - Lilith succeeded with Linda Barthelet, while Angela struggled; Eve hated homework and tried to make friends with fellow children and her new quasi-stepmother; Lilith and Linda had a son, Daniel "Danny"; and Angela was either a good aunt who wanted to take care of her nephew, or she tried to steal him because she wants someone to love.

small event: date night - go out with your significant other
big event: nothing - the week goes on like normal

Aw, they're acting like newlyweds.
Oh yeah, they also currently live with Lilith's daughter and sister as well as their infant son. Not so romantic anymore, is it?
Lilith and Linda: *completely ignore me*

Now you're just flaunting your love. This is the typical Pleasant sisters relationship, isn't it?

Now you're just being inappropriate.

In the midst of all the making out, Eve grew up! She seems a bit puzzled by the concept of being taller...
Pleasure // Vegetarian

She brought a friend home from school, so of course there had to be more appropriateness in the form of a naked stepmother.

Yes, fawn all over your friend while he's still thinking about your naked stepmother.

Her new friend is Hugh Perry, although he seemed more interested in gossip than flirting.

Danny also grew up, creepy pointy teeth and all! Otherwise, he's pretty adorable.

Gossiping was replaced by snowball fights outside. How are they managing to be so adorable without actually doing anything romantic-y?

Angela, it worries me when you're alone with your nephew - if you kidnap him, I know how to find you!

Eve still hates homework - what a shocker.

Eve: Is he laughing at me or did he really think that my joke was that funny?
I really don't know. You are an odd one, Oudi.

Why do glasses randomly do this to me? I mean, to Eve, to poor, poor Eve.

Let's look at an adorable toddler rather than glitchy glasses, shall we?

Cute family moment - but look, neither mother is teaching her son important skills. Great motherhood right here.

Lilith and Linda get to go out as this week's ROS event. Of course, as soon as they left, they changed out of their nice clothes back into their boring casual outfits.

Look at them enjoying each other's comp -

- never mind.

Man, Joel, are you trying to ruin the mood?

Jesse seems unimpressed by the crying and such. Maybe it's a side effect of coming back to life?

Back at home, there was a mini-tickle-fest.

But tickling just isn't enough for poor Angela, so we went back to the crystal ball! Let's see our options...
Graham, you might not actually be married to Trinity, but you've been in an adorablly commited relationship with her for basically this entire challenge.
Leo, you are a young adult, please don't go after older women like Angela.
Two boring townies, which leaves...

This colorful man! The adorable Niall Fey.

Um, you might be thinking a little too far ahead - you just met him about ten minutes ago.

Yes, flirting first, talk of family later.

Do you not care about scarring poor Eve yet?

*sigh*

*headdesk*

Well, one bed is full, might as well break in the other bed, huh?

Apparently there's an area that's lacking a proper roof - either that, or the butterflies were tired of hanging around outside and decided to come into the kitchen instead.

Angela decided to take her new beau out on a date as well, and she chose the only other option, The Jewelbox, because we only have two restaurants.
Of course, it's also the restaurant that has roaches. Good pick, me.

*slowly backs away so as not to alarm the frightening Angela*

The Jewelbox bathroom: most ideal makeout spot in the whole place.

Um, Niall, you already have a redhead, and she's right next to you.

Well, I guess he doesn't care what Trinity thinks anymore, which is... good? I mean, neither of them seem in danger of breaking up Trinity and Graham's relationship right now, which is certainly a good thing, but they're also in public...

Look, sitting at the same table - what a novel idea!

Oh good, I think Jules spilled their food all over Niall. Because that's what they need, more bad reviews. Please don't complain, Niall!

With such a huge age gap between the two, we really don't get nearly as many adorable sibling bonding moments between these two - of course, I've been pretty spoiled by the large and adorable Lynch-Davis clan.

YES, MONEY!
I mean, yay, Niall is moving in...
Popularity
Hoarder // Impulsive Shopper // Black Thumb // Brooding // Handy

Hmm, maybe this isn't such a good idea - Niall really seems to have a thing for redheads.
Linda: *calmly* Step away from my wife. Now.

Look, Angela, you don't have to kidnap your nephew anymore!
Yes, I know that the toilet looks clean for now, but trust me, it won't be for long...

Well, the romantic spark in this relationship seemed to die quickly.

And I spoke too soon.
Eve: The more I read, the bigger the scholarships I can get, so that I can GET AWAY FROM ALL THIS DAMN PDA.
Smart plan.

Say goodbye to toddler Danny, and...

...hello to child Danny!

Eve: Wait, was he this big yesterday?

*pop*

Look, a bit of motherly instinct kicked in!

Just in time for Eve to finally get away from all the PDA-prone adults!
Eve: Shh, don't tell them that I'm leaving - what if they have one final makeout session in front of me before I go?!
Don't worry, your secret is safe with me.

And there'll soon be another child to take her place - it'll be like she was never here!
Eve: I can still hear you!
She's so appreciated and loved in this family, isn't she?

And here's a final, not-posed-at-all family portrait - and we've now reached the end of Week 4 and Year 1! The wrap-up is coming soon, and then we'll get to start on the second year of this budding BACC! And maybe I'll stop using exclamation marks!

Notes:
- I don't think that Lilith and Linda are married yet, but I can't remember for sure, so she's just going by Linda Pleasant no matter what.
- Even though Niall brought in a nice sum of money, someone really needs to get a job, so I'll try to figure out who's the lucky one, and what they should do, next round.

week four, !sunset bay, sunset bay: pleasant family
