The Perry Family II: Week Three

Jul 29, 2015 16:16

From the round-up of Week Two, this is what happened in the Perry household last time: Joel quickly fell for his new neighbor, Jules and she moved in. They had a nice and quiet life as a couple before Jules gave birth to quads (!!!!) - Hugh, Camille, Andre, and Ashlyn, and then Joel's daughter, Remy, came to stay with them for the weekend, making for an even more crowded house. Then, during Britta Perry's round this week, she kissed her ex-husband in front of his new wife, which caused some drama between the newish couple that we get to see the aftermath of now - what fun!

We start off the Perry II household with some adorableness! Here are brothers Andre and Hugh - Andre doesn't seem to be feeling the love quite as much as Hugh.

Needless to say, Jules is not over what Joel did to her at Britta's flowershop - even though ACR was to blame, she's not so quick to forgive him.
Do you really want to be stuck with four quads on your own?!

I think she might be angry enough to do just that.

Joel spent a few good hours groveling, and slowly it began to make a difference in Jules's mind.

Hello creepy neighbor wearing a llama outfit - could you maybe leave Camille alone? Even if her parents are ignoring her, it's creepy to go up to a toddler in the middle of the night and offer food.

I would say that Jules is being a protective mother, but I think she's just taking out more of her frustrations, this time against her neighbor rather than her husband.

Luckily, her attention now has new focus: The Jewelbox, a coffee shop that now belongs to Jules. Since one of her traits is colorful, the decor reflects that.

Yes, I think Jules has forgiven her husband - either that, or she's feeling a bit horny. It's hard to tell based on her facial expressions.

The quads grew up with little fanfare - mainly because there are too many of them to pay that attention to birthdays and such.
Here's the adorable and shocked-at-her-suddenly-much-longer-arms-and-fingers Camille!
Schmoozer

Ashlyn, who has a thinner nose than her sister (I think).
People Person

Andre, who looks like a male version of Ashlyn (again, I think)
Collector

And Hugh, who looks a lot like his mother. At least there's some diversity among the quads!
Wanderlust

Another picture of Camille just because - not that I have favorites or anything...

Um, my favorite Camille, you might want to get out of there right now...

A smart little girl, Camille is not. Stay away from the fly-infested food!

Aw, someone misses her older half-sister - or, there aren't really a lot of beds in this tiny duplex.

Joel has started joining Jules at work so that she doesn't have to run everything by herself.

The weekend arrived, and with that came Remy, who is looking a bit like a blue, older version of Andre and Ashlyn (again, I think - I am horrible at figuring out genetics and such, even with Sims).

What's wrong? What's happening to your father?

Um, I don't think it's your father you should be worrying about right now...

You're such a friendly neighbor, Jules.

If this is something that turns you on, Joel, then I am very worried for all of your children.

Now that Remy is a teenager, she's begun exploring her romantic options, and one Percy Quigley piqued her interest.

Aw, they're so adorable together!

Remy is very happy with the new guy in her life, that's for sure.

Britta came to visit her oldest - with some creepy eye thing happening as well.
Britta: Hmm, I wonder where your father is - I should probably say hello to him as well...
Remy: Um, maybe we should keep you away from him.
Thank you, Remy - at least some of us are thinking about Jules's sudden love of violence.

Really, Andre? Your landlord brings you all a free pizza and you're still starving?

Trinity Royal finally stopped by The Jewelbox, and even though she has a bit of a long-ago past with Joel, Jules hired her.
Wow, she's a real catch, isn't she? She brings so many skills and so much experience to the job.

Trinity, your job is not to serenade the customers with mediocre guitar playing.
Trinity: *ignores and plays "Baraccuda" off-key*

O.O
This is not a very good business. I wonder why the newly-scary Jules isn't attracting more positive attention.

Remy invited over her new friend...

...so she could snag her first kiss!

Grant Lynch-Davis also popped by, and Andre was eager to make a friend who didn't live in the same womb as he did for three Sim-days.

Grant was a litle more interested in getting to know a fellow unnatural Sim, though. No precocious crushes for you - she's taken!

And that's it for the second Perry family this round! It wasn't too eventful for the children, but that might change when there's a house full of teenagers next week...

Notes:
- Speaking of houses, the duplex is simply too small for two parents, four full-time children, and two children who stay on the weekends (next week, Giselle will start coming over with Remy now that she's a child), so the Perrys have moved to a three-story apartment building next door, which they'll hopefully fully furnish over the course of Week 4.
- I really don't know where Jules's sudden rage came from - all of a sudden, I saw her poking her neighbor and making her cry, and then she got into a fight with her. It's all a bit worrisome - hopefully she likes her new neighbors better.
