Girlpirate's request for photos of Dave and/or the place was a good one.

Also, please tell me that someone is keeping an eye on Dave so that he doesn't do anything foolish (like try to arrange a sale of the land) before the reveal. I woke up worrying about that this morning (and I don't even know Dave).

If any of that were in the works, he would have told Lynn, his ex-wife who is in on our scheming, and Lynn would tell us while attempting frantically to dissuade him. But I think he's taking the "get through the party then make hard decisions" tack, and in that case, it's fine.

We already have plans for photos and videos of the reveal, never fear! :D

I'm relieved to hear that nothing that will spoil our surprise is cooking on the back burner. Him waiting until after the party makes sense to me so I'm actually a little less worried. Although why I'm all worked up over someone I don't actually know is probably a matter I should address with a psychologist.

I think the original request for photos was with the idea that having a picture to put with Dave and/or his house and/or the field would help open pocket-books. So while I'm looking forward to pictures/vids of the reveal, I'm thinking photos now might help boost donations. Unless Dave's really ugly or the field is so non-spectacular you think they'd hurt. (I'm being humorous here, don't take my comment wrong.)

Oh, none taken. Problem is, I have no pictures, and I'm 250 miles away in Memphis right now. I'll ask the local list if anyone has old LSP pics to share, though.
