Reality
“Who are you asking to be your date for the Yule Ball?” Pansy asked Draco, batting her eyes at him. Draco hid a shudder of disgust.
“Not your business.”
He knew he was going to end up asking her, but he could dream while he could, couldn’t he?
He cast a quick glance at the Hufflepuff table. Cedric Diggory was smiling as always. Draco wanted to ask him. In his dreams, he did. But dreams and reality never mixed well.
Draco asked Pansy the next day when the news that Diggory was accompanying Cho Chang reached him.
That was reality.
