Cry of Rage
It was not fear that gripped Neville’s heart upon seeing Harry's still body. Nor was it really grief - the hard edge of reality hadn't bored though him yet. It was just pure rage. The thought that went around and around in his head was 'how dare they?' How dare they barge into Hogwarts, demanding them to give in and staining Harry's memory in the process?
Neville didn't think as he got free of his bounds and when he, with a cry of rage, attacked Voldemort, he understood that there was no way out of this.
He had no regrets.
