New hood agaaaaaaaaaaain
I decided that I'd been plotting too small, again. So. New hood time. Bigger, more lots, bigger lots. The 'average' is going to be 20x20 instead of 12x12. The smallest, in fact, will be 15x15. This is because the majority of my Prosp families are so large, and I expect they will breed heavily as well. Hence, the houses need to be larger than normal ( Read more... ) -

It looks like I'll have to only partially ride the band wagon that is pixel_trade's latest Legacy Challenge (Viking Death Squad or whatsit). We're not allowed to get heirs from PT+PT offspring from our own game (i.e if I download Bob and Betty made by some random PT simmers and they have a son named Bartleby together, I can't use Bartleby to breed ( Read more... ) -
Good news, everyone!
So I ended up having to uninstall-reinstall the game three times before things finally got back to working order. But! Knock on wood, I am now far enough that I am getting to build up custom rabbit holes for my town. :D -

Remaking the 'hood!
After playing around with importing heigh maps of RL places into CAW, I stumbled on one that came out just interestingly enough that I can't help but go with it. So the old hood is getting scrapped, and I'm going to work on this new one. It's a mountainous island with 2.5 beaches (two regular, one hidden) and a lot of nice hillsides to walk around ( Read more... ) -

Names and pixel trade
I'm still slowly working on the 3000 surnames for the name mod, but spent a little time playing around with a Sims 3 founder for the pixel trade founder competition. I really need to get a screen photo taking editor program thingie again. I forgot how much of a pain in the butt it is to manually hit prt scr then paste it into Paint and bleah! -
