I love the zebra theme -- it gives me some ideas for the zebra items in my place. Yes, 'canopy bed' is the right vocabulary. I can see how one of those would make the room look very small.

All of your decor is lovely! ETA: forgot to say how much I love the lamp shade too.

We call them "four poster beds" in Australia. I think the UK uses the 'four poster' term too.

It is fantastic, love the corners of the blue on the lower part of the wall. And the red door, well that stands for prosperity in Feng Shui, so I like the red :D

Oh yes! I painted my front door a reddish maroon intentionally! :D

As with many others here, I love the dipping down of the blue paint in the corners and I like the red door. I think it fits perfectly with your decor! There are a lot of interesting things everywhere in your room and yet you pull together the eclectic marvelously! Woohoo!! :)
