Did you put on that glass doorknob yourself? I love it!

It was already there. There are several of them on various doors around my apartment. I think they are probably original to the building, which I'm guessing was built in the 1930's or 40's.

You did an unbelievable job! Looking at the before and afters, it's hard to believe it's the same room. Everything just works perfectly together, even the teddy bears :)

Thank you! Other than the matching bedroom furniture, it's all a mish-mash of stuff and I wanted it to be a unique collection without it looking awkward or like something clashes.

Such a lovely room! And I adore that you managed to keep string lights in an "adult" bedroom. :)

Hahah! Yeah, I knew they are a little risky, but I just love the soft light they give off. I wanted a strong purple in my room, and the curtains and the lights were the substitute for painting that one wall purple. I had a string of white string lights that I decided to nix from the bedroom and I used them in a closet in the living room instead.
