I bought this FANTASTIC 1950's telephone chair off craigslist for $10 (!!!) and reupholstered it. I can't find the before pic, but the original fabric was green and was basically falling off the seat. I chose not to refinish it because I sort of love the worn, vintage look it has. I also adore the art nouveau style chair back. As you can see, both of my cats have made themselves quite at home on it. I had a whopping 5 minutes to admire it WITHOUT cat fur on it. :) In the picture with the black cat (Bean), you can see some of the fabulous scroll detailing along the bottom of the table. This is a big part of why I chose not to refinish as well - I was afraid of messing that up!
Buddha! I've been looking everywhere for something-that-isnt-another-figurine and all I can find is either a printed fabric or it looks like the artist was high on something. :<
That painting is gorgeous. So jealous of your mad art skills.
Thank you! I've slowly accumulated a LOT of Buddha stuff LOL. I'm actually hoping to open a little Etsy shop soon to sell some of my hand-painted dishes and artwork and I was thinking of recreating that painting to sell, maybe doing a series or something, so stay tuned! :)

It's a great little table. Heavy as lead... or, rather, concrete. My son loves it! It's just his size. He stands in front of it and plays DJ with the little Fisher Price record player we dug out of the attic at Grandma's.

Thanks!
The fabric is called Ka Aqua Blocks and I'd been drooling over it long before I found the chairs to put it on!
