Wow - your reupholstering is as good as the best I've seen on design*sponge! That fabric is fantastico.

The fabric is called Ka Aqua Blocks and I'd been drooling over it long before I found the chairs to put it on!

Thanks! The guy who teaches the class is pretty awesome. He's been in the business for at least 20 years.
Not sure when I'll get around to re-doing the second chair - I just had hand surgery and I'm on "light duty" for at least a month...

i would absolutely love to take an upholstery class but i can't find one in my area! how did you find yours? i've googled some but don't know where to go from there...

You might check with community centers or community colleges. The one I've been taking is part of the continuing education program at a community college. If there are any upholstery supply shops around, you might ask if they know of anyone teaching classes in your area.
