My third post here....but now I'm posting with a house!

My little family and I just bought our very first home about two months ago in a suburb of Houston, TX. It had great potential but needed lots of love to make it how we wanted. We powered through over the course of about three weeks and we're really happy with how it turned out.

What an amazing transformation! I like the clock where it is regardless of the chair placement. Those kitchen cabinets were so bad before I wouldn't have thought there was any hope (who thought painting a stripe on them would be a good idea? What is the kitchen a racecar or something?!), but you relaly pulled it off. And I know what a pain painting cabinetry is, so you have my sympathy there.

Also, unrelated, but Lennon is a super cute name!

For your curtains, could you try hanging your rod an inch lower? That way you can't see the bottom (I can't anyway) and they're not too short, as you say?

It's already about 1/2" lower than I want it :) It's not the end of the world, I'm just picky!
