I LOVE the blue color you used. It's so cool and refreshing.

I used to live by Hillsboro Village, on 21st. I miss Tennessee. Sigh.

Can you post a little more about how you stenciled your walls? I love it!

as far as actually making the stencil, i designed it in microsoft paint and cut it out of transparency paper (the kind you use in an overhead projector). to apply the stencil, i just waited 24 hours for the base coat of paint to dry, and then used a small paint roller to apply the stencil paint. stenciling the walls took about an hour, tops.

if you are interested in stenciling, there are some GREAT tutorials at stencilry.org, which is where i initially learned.

Sergeant Deputy Piggy is AWESOME, shutup. :P

And I like your stenciling! I did think it was wallpaper, so I'm glad you corrected that! :) Great job!

thank you!
i initially was going to wallpaper the walls, but at $75+ a roll for the designs i wanted, i decided to go with paint and deal with landlord consequences later ;)

I would think a landlord would be happier trying to cover paint than peel off wallpaper. You, too, if it ends up being you who has to do it!
