Thank you! I really appreciate the comment on the saucy combined with comfy and lived in, because sometimes I do wonder if it's more on the comfy and not saucy side. I'm not overly obsessed with saucy but I do want it to look nice, while at the same time, being comfortable.
I just posted another photo that shows more of my storage. I am a rabid book lover; the room to put up all these book cases is one reason why we bought this house. And the fireplace. :-)
Wow you really scored with those exposed beams and that fireplace! Everything looks lovely and I rather enjoy the mismatched chairs. When you do get around to painting be sure to post, I'm sure it will look super saucy.
Hee. Purple is my favorite color, especially that hue of purple. I thought about trying to get a "christmasy" color tablecloth for the occasion, but then thought, my purple is just as festive, right? :-)

Thanks! As I mentioned before, I'm a huge book nerd and just had to have plenty of room for the books. Every room but the bathrooms, pretty much, are full of bookcases full of books. :-)
Oh, yes, how could we leave the pets out of the stocking joy? When we had two ferrets, they got little teeny tiny stockings, too. :-)
