i'm a bit bored of that audrey canvas that you see everywhere, but i loved the framed prints and the paint colours. good job.

i know what you mean, i bought it a couple of years ago when it had just come out, and i've been waiting to put it up in the room. i basically bought it back then to design the room around it, so there's some sentimental value. :)

ah, totally. i can see why you put it up if it set the tone that you wanted to have in the room. i'm sure i have some stuff in my house that everyone else thinks is boring. and i am so jealous of the relief you must feel at finally turning a junk room into a nice room!

"..but also because there were sections of carpet padding glued to the hardwoods by years of a cat peeing in the same place."

EEW !! did the cat just pee directly on the floor ?!
that's just. disgusting. !

But what an amazing change ! I really love what you did, it's so pretty.

yep, there were pee stains all over the carpet underside when we ripped it up, which wasn't much of a surprise... i have a cat, and once in a great while he'll go outside the litter box (e.g. if he has a UTI and is in pain). but their cat must have liked that one spot and used it over and over, so it eventually soaked through the carpet and padding and onto the hardwoods underneath. ugh.
