I'm so glad they do. I hope people never stop writing Lure fics!! Normally, with all those brilliant fanfic authors out there, I would have never find the courage to start writing myself but when I suddenly saw new authors appearing, I thought to myself: Just DO IT! ;-)
It's great to see what promises to be a lovely multi-chapter AU, my favorite kind of fic. I did wonder when I saw the artwork if it was going to be a Grimm crossover! An intriguing idea...
Thank you so much! I'm not sure it'll be AU though. I'm going to follow canon but not in exact the same way and there will be new characters involved, too. Is it an AU then? I'm still pretty new in fanfic terms. I was really worried that people would think it's going to be a Grimm crossover. That's why I wrote a loooong Author's Note ;-) I haven't watched "Grimm" yet. Is it good? I have only seen the trailer and some pictures...although I've got so say that it didn't look very appealing to me but I might be completely wrong. I shouldn't judge before I've watched it. ;-)
Sorry, I guess I assumed it was AU-ish, but I also love missing chapter fics and alternate perspective fics.
I love Grimm. Of course, I might be biased being from Portland, where it is filmed, but I didn't love it until I had watched a few episodes. The trailers and the pilot make it seem like a very dark and gritty show, but it quickly settles down and grows on you. I really think it has better writing than many popular shows. There is a good balance between the monster of the week plots, the overall story arc, and really terrific character development. I love the friendship between Nick, Monroe, and Rosalie. I don't love the Nick/Juliet romance, but there is a great secondary romance with Monroe and Rosalie.
I'm so excited for this new canon based fic, YAY! The show left so many holes and so many places for us to jump in and write a new course. This is a really great start.
Thank you so much, sleeper!! I'm glad you liked it and I'm looking forward to your opinion on the next chapter which I'm going to post in a few minutes. By the way, what about your next chapter?? I can hardly wait for "It's a bet" to continue. :-)
