Huh. It's 2015.
Well. It's been five six months since I touched this. That's the trouble with not wanting to put things on the internet; you can't put them on the internet! Alas.
Let's hope that things will start looking up in the near future.
Edit: Also, when you don't use something, you forget that there are privacy settings... Dang it. -
Poetry
Reading poetry... good poetry... (which is a funny criterion, since what we so often mean is actually "poetry that speaks to me" which is, after all, a very subjective measure of "good") ...anyway, good poetry apparently makes me want to write poetry. Interview
Well, that solved that problem.
I had a very nice phone interview yesterday about a 6-month position out West. For a variety of reasons, prominently including the fact that I just want to go home even if I don't quite know where that is, I had rather mixed emotions about the whole thing. Status
Been a while since I posted anything here. Actually, since you can't see the private posts that I never published it's been a really long while since I posted anything here. I suppose I've pretty much shifted over to Wordpress for the more interesting and less angsty bits. But LJ serves a purpose, so... yeah. -

Dark, windy, and... warm?
It is officially a bizarre day out. It's 60+ degrees outside, windy, and the "mostly cloudy, scattered showers" forecast is actually "heavily overcast". So it's dark and will probably be dark all day, but it feels nice out. It's confusing my senses something major.
