Yeah, yeah, it's been weeks, I know.

In brief:

I drove from Wyoming to New York. Details in the other blog. No, it's not linked from here; ask for it (I welcome new readers!) or find it on Facebook.

Stopped to see Angie and Brett, and then retrieved Sam and spent the weekend with her. Excellence. :)

Fielded a phone interview and got an offer out of it, but it wasn't something I felt capable of doing so I declined. The ego boost was useful, though.

Got minor repairs done on my truck. Hate to have to spend the money, but it could've been worse.

Drove to Albany for a weekend and skipped across the state line for an inspection. The truck passed, though the mechanic mentioned a minor electrical issue that I'll have to look into. Have to remember that shop; I'd totally go back. Nice guys, fast service.

Spent the rest of the weekend with Dani and her roommate Claudia. Pretty awesome people! I'm always surprised when I make new friends, but very pleased to have done so. Have to go back for another visit though; Dani and I didn't make it to the arboretum. (Aw, shoot, not an excuse for a visit, noooo....) Walked through the State Museum, though; pretty nifty stuff! Saw a couple movies (I suspect my list of movies watched will grow rather faster in the future than it has for much of the last ten years... not that that's difficult...) and spent a lot of time talking. Oh, and we cooked. Definitely my kind of weekend. :)

Stopped in Syracuse on the way back, picked up a few things from in storage. Discovered that I'd missed things that I need, though, so I have to go back. Dammit...

Spent a lot of my free time over the last week or so doing various groundskeeping chores (part of my rent). Carpentry stuff, cut down a tree, working on fixing a retaining wall. The usual. At least for me.

Got a job app out yesterday for a position in NH. I'm hopeful, but I have to put it aside. Got half a dozen more to do before I go looking for more.

I probably left things out... more posts if/when I think of them. /shrug/
