Pity. I had been hoping to see the song accompaning this chapter would be 'Behind Blue Eyes' since I've been looking for a copy of that forever. [all searches only turn up the version of Limp Biskit or Pink Floyd]
But on the positive note, it's great to read a story where it isn't based on Jrock androgeny or emo/punk [i hate the world - let's start a band and fuck] nonsense. You've taken a cliche plot and made it unique and fresh.
Plus, it's change of pace to see the true classics quoted rather than Evanesence or Linkin Park. That alone brings a sense of anticipation as to which artist will be featured next within your frequent chapters.

Thanks so much for reading! I will admit that I do occassionally listen to Evanesence and Linkin Park, but, well, they are overused, and their lyrics don't have a lot of merit. They're also really...blatantly emo? Or mawkish might be a better word for it.

It's refreshing to know some one shares similar eclectic tastes as I. Personally, I like mixing my Joplin with MCR, or Scorpions with Malice Mizer.
Though at the rate you're going with this fic, it'll be inevitable that you end up with a fst of all the featured songs.
