Jayne was not happy. He was missing his favorite pair of combat boots. He could have sworn he left them next his bed, but it could have been next to his weights in the cargo bay… But now? They were no where to be found, and it was pissing him off.
And then he found them in the most unlikely place: River’s feet.
“What?” he nearly shouted.
She giggled and grinned up at him. “She likes the feel of them. Too big for her feet, but they are perfect for her needs.”
“No rutting way! Get your own. Them’s mine!”
