I didn't see it yet, but I'm just so glad that Cameron said that to Cuddy. Because that's two weeks in a row that someone has called Cuddy out on her behavior, on her selfish motives, and how she's been losing her perspective on the world around her, and only seems to be obsessed with House. To me, Cuddy has been acting just as badly if not worse than Cameron did at the height of her "crush". And Cuddy is just as disillusioned ( ... )

No need to apologize for ranting! :-) And I agree with you about House/Cuddy. I'm thinking (or maybe hoping) that their sleeping together might be something House hallucinates rather than something that really happens. I honestly didn't get the vibe that Cuddy was asking Cameron whether she loved House out of her own self-interest, though. It wouldn't make sense because there is no reason for Cuddy to view Cameron as competition, seeing as House could have "hit that" for 5 years and clearly has no interest in doing so. :-) I didn't see Cuddy as being weak or pining in this episode at all, actually, but you might interpret it differently.

It IS much too soapy overall. I'm damned tired of all the shippy romance crap. (Again, I can't help adding how great it would be if House and Stacy were reunited, Sela Ward only appearing every now and then, but the audience knowing that House is with her. Then the House/? ships would be dead in the water and other things could be explored! :-))

Oh, God. I can't agree. I hope that House and Cuddy actually have sex and it's not a hallucination. Because if it's a hallucination, then there won't be any resolution at all. If it's real, it will force some kind of resolution, and I just can't stand the idea of having it a hallucination so that whole story can just keep getting dragged on and on and on.

Well, it seems that she did see her as competition because she was quite relieved (and House even called her on it) when House told her that Cameron wasn't interested in being on his team or on him, and was a little too happy/relieved when she found out about the engagement. I know you don't like Cameron, but the way Cuddy has been acting lately has been living under her own illusions and (I know she has her reasons and I know it's consistent with her character) and immaturely, and trying to pretend she's concerned about other people when she's not, and I'm glad people keep bringing it to her attention. Heh ( ... )
