I sold my soul.

Jun 03, 2005 11:05

I had to sell my camera yesterday to make money. It was really sad, and I almost cried when I put it in the Fed Ex drop box. But I'm $600.00 richer, my camera went to a good home, and now I don't have to borrow money. When I finally get all the money that's coming to me, I want to keep it, not pay people off. So I guess it's a good thing. Hopefully ( Read more... )

Someone a couple streets over from me has peacocks. It's really weird to be out walking and see peacocks.

Awww, sorry you had to sell your camera. But I have the faith that you'll get a much cooler one in the future. :)

Nice pictures!! I especially love the "discoballs" one. :) Where was that temple? ! Looks beautiful.

Oh yeah I'm all about the Rebel XT next time.
:)
Thanks I really like that picture too. It would have looked really neat at night. The temple is out on 1826, way far south. It's in the middle of the hill country, and when you are driving by it, all you can see is the top of the temple, so I've always been really intrigued by it. You should go sometime, it's really cool.

Very nice! For some reason, I didn't think it was in Texas. That's nice to know. :] Are you Hindu or anything, or just a fan of nice architecture?

No not Hindu, just always wanted to see what was going on at that temple. It looks really cool and out of place where it is.

Tilted Photo pusgums June 7 2005, 21:10:42 UTC
There have been a few times when I have a photo tilted like that and I desperately want to salvage it. Typically I'll load it up into Photoshop and rotate it at 1º increments until it's as close to straight as possible. After that I'll use the guides to square it off, and then crop it.

There may be easier ways to correct it than that, but I'm not aware of any.

Also, I'm sorry about your camera. I had actually inquired about it, but I felt pretty bad that you had to get rid of it. Do you at least have any other non-slr digicams to use in the meantime?
