I had to sell my camera yesterday to make money. It was really sad, and I almost cried when I put it in the Fed Ex drop box. But I'm $600.00 richer, my camera went to a good home, and now I don't have to borrow money. When I finally get all the money that's coming to me, I want to keep it, not pay people off. So I guess it's a good thing. Hopefully, I'll be able to upgrade the camera when the time comes.
I just found out that I'll be getting a large sum of money for the hail damage my car got a couple of months ago, so that's good. I really need to learn how to save money. I swear it burns a hole in my pocket. Any tips??? Anyone? The Buddhist have it right when they say desires are the root of unhappiness. I just wish that I didn't want stuff. Period. Maybe it's growing up in a Capitalist society? I don't know, I just wish I was more easily satisfied.
Work is going good. I'm basically getting a promotion to do different stuff. I don't know what that means for school though. I know the longer I wait the harder it will be to ever finish. And I know I won't work here for the rest of my life. Everything I know how to do here is very specialized, and it's not like there are very many companies in the US that do this kind of work. I really just want a couple of years to just get everything done and not worry about coming up with all the money to pay bills and stuff. Where is that sugar daddy of mine??????????
Tonight is a wedding rehearsal. Tomorrow is a wedding. I hope it doesn't suck too bad.
Ok here are some pictures from the last time I used my camera. I saw more lightning bugs then I have ever seen in my life, literally hundreds of them all around this oak tree, so I tried to get some pictures of them. You can sort of see a few in the first, and the rest are just pictures that I really like the lighting in.
see them?
one of my shadow...
i like the way the grass looks, it's about a 30 sec. exp.-should have been about 20.
I forgot about this, I went to this Hindu Temple (Barsana Dam) that was having a festival a couple of weeks back. It was sooooooooo cool. Apprently it's only open to the publiv once a year during this festival. I'd always wanted to go. Sorry this picture is tilted and I have no idea how to fix it.
This place is so cool, I had a dream I went there and learned how to fly.
Crooked again, but this is what the tiles on the temple look like. It was really beautiful.
I don't know what this was, but I liked it.
This was really pretty.
Peacocks roaming around on the property.
The elephants were leaving.
