Wasn't it? I started re-watching season 1 (don't ask me why I started now instead of during the hiatus), and it's been cracking me up how different the perception of all the characters was back then. Sawyer was a jerk! Sun was submissive! Locke was creepy! (Oh wait, that one never really changed...)
