It sounds crazy and cliched but try turning off the router then back on again.

I lost all Internet last weekend. I switched my Virgin router off and left it off while I went to work for the day. When I got home I switched it back on and it worked fine.

I did the whole turning on and off and then I tried a new splitter box and hey presto here I am! Fingers crossed this keeps working.
