Dear Friends I'm scribbling this entry from my desk at work, why am I doing this I hear the crickets chirp? Because less than 24 hours before The Show returns my internet goes belly up!
Let's go back to the start shall we? Last Wednesday after spending 10 minutes trying to watch a two minute vid from my course. I'd finally had enough of my crappy internet connection and rang Sky. Now to be fair they were really helpful ,they tried to get me on another internet channel but after the connection failed twice, they conceeded I might need a new router! So thanks to me paying insurance on Monday I took posession of a shiny new Sky Hub.
Monday night it worked fine, and last night I connected my old lap top to it and still everything was fine. Then when everyone had buggered off to bed, I decided to have one more look at LJ...and nothing, no connection.... nada, sod all! I took a few deep breaths as I was told the signal was strong and everything was right with the Matirx. Then I ran upstairs and tried old faithful again nothing, by now a simmering sense of panic had set in. Finally I tried Steve's tablet.......Flatlined!!!!!!
In defeat I went to bed and this morning I tried everything again and still sod all. Even worse my Sky box no longer has an IP address, now I'm hoping that this is their glitch, and tonight when Iget home all will be right with my world. If not I will be ringing Sky and askng politely what is happening with my connection before I hook the old router back up to see if that is the problem.
*Shakes fist at universe* Of all the friggin' times you do this to me! So dear friends as you gather round to watch, stream...and use other methods of viewing the boys. Think of me cut off from you all, knowing I came so close to seeing Sam and Dean again only to see it cruelly snatched away *wibble*
